Once upon a time there was a dark cave in a valley where there lived a monster called nian. There was a small village below the valley, and when the last day of the New Year came, the people in the village would shut the door tightly. However, there is still a way to get into the villagers' homes and eat the villagers' things. There is no way for the villagers. Many villagers went to the city for the Spring Festival. One year, as the villagers were on their way to the city, a fairy said to the villagers, "the monster is most afraid of red things and noise." To the ordinary Chinese, the festival actually begins on the eve of the lunar New Year’
Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar calendar. But the 15th of the first month, which normally is called the Lantern Festival, means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the country.
Spring Festival is the most importantand popular festival in China.Before Spring Festival ,the people usually clean and decorate their houses.And they go to the Flower Fairs to buy some flowers.During Spring Festival ,the adults usually give lucky money to children.People often get together and have a big meal.Some people eat dumpling for dinner.
Chinese New Year is coming and my family is very busy. It's because Chinese New Year is very special and important. We must prepare many special things to get ready for this festival.
First, will make a big New Year meal. Second, we will make “Good-luck wishes.” Third, we will set off firecrackers. New Year meal is delicious and we think that eating some will bring us good luck. A long time ago, Chinese people b

Now what I want most is the Spring Festival.
Early in the morning, I would like to wear comfortable new clothes to the elders, after the father go outside to say hello, and then some apples, candy, chocolate, pears... The things I harvested in the past Spring Festival are not enough for me to plug my teeth. So this Spring Festival, I want to take a lot of delicious, if cannot eat, store up, eat later.
At noon, with father throw bamboo pole, a lot of people have doubt, this is the custom of which nationality, let me tell you! It's just the only thing in our family that has this custom.
