　　One day you finally knew

　　what you had to do, and began,

　　though the voices around you

　　kept shouting

　　their bad advice--

　　有一天，你終于知道，

　　什么是你必須得做，并開始去做，

　　though the whole house

　　began to tremble

　　and you felt the old tug

　　at your ankles.

　　with its stiff fingers

　　at the very foundation

　　though their melancholy

　　was terrible.

　　It was already late

　　enough, and a wild night,

　　and the road full of fallen

　　branches and stones.

　　撬搗，

　　determined to do

　　the only thing you could do--

　　determined to save

　　the only life you could save.

　　但漸漸地，

　　散發光輝，

　　一個新的聲音出現了，

　　你慢慢，

　　意識到，那是你自己的聲音，

　　它伴隨著你，

　　伴你步步，

　　深入世途，

　　決心去做，

　　你唯一能做的事——

　　決定去拯救，

　　你唯一能拯救的生命。
