通過本課文的學(xué)習(xí)，復(fù)習(xí)鞏固時間、條件狀語從句及一般現(xiàn)在時；進(jìn)一步掌握本單元的語法項目。

四、Teaching of new lesson.
1．Listen to the tape and do the exercises on Page 76.
2．Listening: Listen to the tape for Lesson 68, then read after it alound.
3．Drills and practice:
1) Read the sentences and then write “Right” or “Wrong” about them.
2) Complete the words and then write the story in your own words.
4．Language points. （用幻燈顯示）
1）Stop making to much noise!
該句是祈使句。Stop doing sth.意為“停止做某事”。noise是不可數(shù)名詞，沒有復(fù)數(shù)形式。如：
There is so much noise in the room. I can’t do anything in it.
房間里那么吵鬧，我在里面不能做任何事。
2）Don’t invite too many. 不要邀請?zhí)嗟娜恕?/p>
該句是否定式祈使句。它由Don’t +動詞原形構(gòu)成的。如：
Don’t shout at the old man. 別對那位老人叫喊。
3）You are telling people that they must go at 9:00.
你要告訴人們在九點(diǎn)鐘必須走。
that是連詞，引導(dǎo)賓語從句，表示陳述意思。如：
They said that they were having a good time at the party.
他們說他們在聚會上玩得很痛快。
4）In fact, they were still there at midnight when the doorbell rang…
事實(shí)上，當(dāng)門鈴響時，他們在半夜仍然在那里。
in fact是介詞短語當(dāng)時間狀語，at midnight意為“在半夜”，midnight前面不加冠詞。when是連詞，引導(dǎo)時間狀語從句。
5）They felt sorry they had to leave.
他們覺得很抱歉他們不得不離開了。
had to是have to的過去式。they had to leave是賓語成分。

4．They will go skating tomorrow. It won’t rain.（用if連成復(fù)合句）

3. 他聽到那消息時哭得很傷心。 .
